We’re Aubrey and Michael, filmmakers based on Maui, with backgrounds in film and design. We start by getting to know you: the people who matter, the atmosphere you’re imagining, and the small things that make your relationship yours.

On the day, we stay observant and offer gentle direction when it is useful. You can settle into the celebration. Our films bring together the words, movement, light, and energy of the day, from quiet preparations to the people on the dance floor.

02 / From hello to your film

A shared understanding, from the start.

    Tell us who is gathering and what you want to remember. A few personal priorities give the conversation a useful starting point.

    We talk through the celebration together: the locations, your important moments, and how filming can fit the day you want to have.

    Our approach leaves room for the day to unfold, with observation and guidance as needed while you enjoy being with your people.

    Voices and motion give the finished story its character. The aim is a film that reconnects you with the people and atmosphere of your celebration.

03 / Planning around the place

Make room between the moments.

Wailea & South Maui

Share the spaces you’ll use for preparations, the ceremony, and the reception. Keeping portraits and transitions close can leave more time with guests. Ceremony timing and an ocean-facing setting also shape coverage.

Kapalua & West Maui

Look at the route between where you’re staying and where you’ll celebrate. Discuss the locations with us and your planner so the plan accounts for travel, sound setup, and time together.

Haʻikū & the North Shore

For a garden celebration, bring the weather plan into the conversation early. Covered areas, routes between events, changing light, and ceremony audio all deserve consideration.

Agree on portraits with your photographer and filmmaker together. For sunset portraits, check the light and venue access at the actual location. Our timeline guide offers more planning questions.

04 / A little clarity

Before the day arrives.

Will we need to know how to pose?

You can be yourselves. We give you space to enjoy one another and your guests, with gentle guidance when it helps. Feeling comfortable is part of the experience.

Can we keep some moments private?

Yes. Tell us what you’d like recorded and what you want to keep between yourselves. A first look is optional; the timeline can reflect your choices.

How do we plan for outdoor vows?

Share the ceremony setting and sound arrangements. We coordinate with your team and plan recording around the voices you want to keep. Discuss the officiant, sound provider, and any sheltered alternative before the day.

Do you work on other islands?

We’re based on Maui and film across Hawaiʻi. Share the island, venue, and date so we can discuss availability and the travel arrangements for your celebration.

01 / The people

A little about the people beside you.

Before we pick up a camera, we want to know a little about you. Who makes you laugh? Whose voice will you always want to hear? What would you love to remember?

Michael is a filmmaker. Aubrey is a musician and educator. Our work brings those perspectives together, shaped by music, adventure, and visual storytelling.

When we’re away from a wedding, we love sharing coffee, chasing sunsets, and dreaming up another adventure. When we’re with you, our work begins with connection: getting to know the people in front of the camera, discussing your plans, and understanding what makes the celebration your own.

02 / How we work

Room to be yourselves.

We listen first, then make room for the day to unfold. From preparations to the dance floor, we work as a quiet, attentive team, looking for the voices, expressions, and unscripted moments that carry the story.

You don’t need to perform for us. We want you to stay comfortable and close to your people, with gentle guidance when it helps. In the edit, we consider structure, rhythm, color, and sound together, bringing the atmosphere of the day into the finished film.

Maui is home, and we create wedding films across the Hawaiian Islands. The setting is part of your story: changing light, ocean air, and the people who have traveled to be there.
