Local perspective
Stories that belong
to this place.
Kauaʻi rewards patience and preparation: passing rain, dramatic light, lush North Shore landscapes, and celebrations that feel wonderfully removed from everything else.
AMP Wedding Films is led by Aubrey and Michael, Hawaii-based filmmakers who approach each wedding with an unobtrusive presence, thoughtful sound recording, and an editorial eye for the moments between the timeline.

Planning perspective
A calm plan for
an island wedding.
When should we book a Hawaii wedding videographer?
Popular dates and experienced local teams can book well ahead. Reach out once your island, date, and primary venue are reasonably firm so creative coverage can be planned alongside the rest of your team.
How do you prepare for weather and changing light?
We watch the forecast, protect sound and camera equipment, and coordinate with your planner and photographer. Flexible portrait timing helps us work with passing weather while keeping the day centered on you.
Can you coordinate travel between locations?
Yes. We review drive time, access, permits when applicable, and the light at each location before finalizing coverage. A realistic timeline gives the film room to breathe without making the wedding feel like a production.
